About the role
Responsibilities Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions for personalized customer decisioning Drive best-in-class modeling, MLOps, and data engineering practices Build and deploy propensity models for cross-sell and upsell Develop Next Best Action / Next Best Offer engines Write production-grade ML pipelines and manage model versioning and experiment tracking Set up model monitoring, drift detection, and alerting systems Lead senior data scientists while remaining hands-on Requirements Bachelor's degree in Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Maths/Statistics, or Computer Science 10 years of experience in a senior data scientist position Expert-level coding in Python Experience with distributed computing (Spark, Dask, Ray) Proficiency with tools like Airflow, MLflow, or Kubeflow Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) Strong SQL skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with R or Scala Experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and vector databases Strong analytics experience in the banking sector About the Company RAKBANK is a leading financial institution in the UAE focused on driving innovation through advanced data science and machine learning.
