About the role
Responsibilities Lead AI/ML and data engineering projects across ASG portfolio companies Build AI/ML systems, data pipelines, model integrations and internal LLM applications Develop LLM-powered tools and workflows for business operations and products Partner with portfolio companies to commercialize data through new products and analytics Serve as technical leader and advisor to engineering and data teams Establish repeatable patterns, playbooks and best practices for AI/ML deployment Own delivery lifecycle from scoping through production handoff Requirements Experience deploying machine learning, data engineering and applied AI at scale Familiarity with LLM applications, model APIs, retrieval workflows and evaluation Python, R and SQL for solution development and data analysis Data validation ensuring LLM and ML outputs are grounded in reality Experience with forecasting solutions for sales, budget and demand Strong communication skills with engineering, product and business stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Fine-tuning LLMs and inference economics judgment Production experience with cloud AI and data platforms About the Company ASG is a group of market-leading SaaS companies backed by Alpine Investors, serving industries from behavioral health to transportation.
