About the role
Responsibilities Tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team, from technical design to launch Deliver solutions used by other teams and products Determine plans-of-attack on large projects Apply and evolve architectural standards on new projects Lead code reviews, documentation and complex bug fixes Partner across engineering teams on company-wide initiatives Mentor more junior members of the team Requirements 12+ years in hands-on software or technology leadership roles Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably Computer Science or equivalent experience Expertise in Java, Python, Kotlin, Go or Scala, plus one additional language Hands-on experience building encryption, key management or security-critical systems at scale Strong cloud security expertise on AWS, GCP or Azure Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and large-scale distributed systems Experience with CI and CD About the Company Atlassian is a distributed-first company that lets employees work from an office, from home or a combination of both.
