About the role
Responsibilities Develop high-performance, secure, scalable backend solutions for core banking systems Design, implement and document robust APIs following market best practices Contribute to microservices architecture and propose continuous improvements Define and improve CI/CD pipelines with end-to-end automation on AWS Ensure high test coverage (unit, integration, performance) and code quality Lead code reviews and share knowledge within the team Requirements Solid backend experience with Go (Golang) AWS resources, especially EKS/Fargate, relational databases, DynamoDB, queues, topics, API Gateway Advanced Docker containers and orchestration Designing and consuming secure, high-performance RESTful APIs Test automation and CI/CD pipeline management Observability: logs, metrics and distributed tracing Preferred Qualifications Experience with financial systems, payment methods or core banking Event-driven architectures with Kafka, SQS or SNS API security (OAuth2, rate limiting, advanced validation) Deploying highly available, resilient environments on AWS Open source contributions in the Go or AWS ecosystem Benefits Remote work by default with flexible hours Education allowance and internal career development tool Health and dental plans, 24x7 telemedicine, free online therapy Meal and food allowance, life insurance, transportation voucher, home office allowance Profit sharing (PLR) About the Company Itaú is a leading financial institution focused on technology-driven innovation and excellence.
