About the role
Responsibilities Support design, development, testing and implementation of IoT and data-analysis solutions Research and evaluate IoT technologies, datasets and analytical tools Contribute to prototypes, pilots and proof-of-concept applications Support data analysis, data science and data-modelling activities Contribute technical input to research projects and publications Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports Collaborate with technology specialists and teams across DTID Requirements Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills Good technical and programming capability Experience in IoT, data analysis, data science or data modelling Experience with Python and R Familiarity with machine-learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn Knowledge of JSON, XML, CSV and APIs Excellent written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field Cloud platform experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform) Open-source contributions or GitHub portfolio Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish or another international language Benefits Unpaid volunteer position with practical experience in an international, volunteer-led organisation Exposure to AI, blockchain and emerging digital technologies Work within a fully remote, globally distributed team About the Company DTID is an international non-profit institute advancing responsible use of AI, blockchain and emerging digital technologies for sustainable development.
