About the role
Responsibilities Solve and validate Rust backend problems involving APIs, persistence, concurrency and performance Translate requirements into reproducible implementation and testing workflows Design, review and assess backend architectures for production readiness Prepare Rust workspaces, test fixtures and containerized development environments Debug complex backend issues and evaluate asynchronous and concurrent systems Produce clear technical explanations and artifacts supporting AI training and evaluation Requirements Strong hands-on Rust proficiency from substantial professional or open-source work Backend service design, APIs, data persistence and production architecture Asynchronous programming, concurrency, error handling and performance optimization Rust workspaces, dependency management and backend tooling Strong debugging and clear written communication About 15 hours per week, starting within 24-48 hours of onboarding About the Company Gramian Consultancy is a boutique consultancy specializing in IT professional services and engineering talent solutions.
