About the role
Responsibilities Develop and evolve APIs and workers in Go for the financial authentication and request routing gateway Work on authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, certificates, IDP) Maintain and evolve API Gateway plugins with end-to-end resilience and observability Ensure high availability, performance and low latency for high-traffic edge services Take part in Kubernetes deployment cycle, observability and incident response Document changes and build production systems with non-functional requirements in mind Requirements 5+ years of Go development in production, focused on high-criticality services Solid knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, mTLS and certificate management Strong security focus: secrets management, encryption, API hardening Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis Automated testing and CI/CD best practices Ability to contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and technical mentoring Preferred Qualifications API Gateway architecture experience (routing, rate limiting, proxying); Kong is a plus AWS experience (ECS, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache) GitOps and ArgoCD experience Interest in financial markets or payment systems Benefits Fixed salary and variable compensation package (PLR, ILP or commission, depending on eligibility) Health and dental insurance with co-payment 24/7 telemedicine service and medication subsidy Meal and food vouchers Childcare allowance and life insurance Fuel or commuting allowance and home office allowance (hybrid or remote contracts) Education benefit via internal self-development platform Emotional support program and wellness benefits About the Company Stone is Brazil's largest independent payments company, with over fifteen thousand people across the country.
