About the role
At TomTom, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Maps Data Services team. In this role, you will help build the services and infrastructure that enable TomTom teams and customers to access the data they need to build and update maps. You will join a team that works on a mature, complex platform where performance, cost, throughput and reliability matter at scale, and you will also help us ship new features.
Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone with a business-oriented mindset who can think from the customer’s perspective. You are curious, eager to learn, and open to developing new skills as our platform evolves.
