About the role
Responsibilities Lead continuous user research every iteration: interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing Synthesize findings into personas, journey maps and opportunity areas Own end-to-end UX for product areas: flows, information architecture, interaction and visual UI Build and maintain a shared design system with engineering Pair with engineers daily within XP team iterations Requirements 5+ years of professional UI/UX or product design experience Deep experience with generative and evaluative research Experience designing enterprise, analytics or data-intensive applications Practical use of AI tools to speed research and prototyping At least 2 years as an embedded designer on an XP team Strong interaction design, information architecture and visual design skills Fluency in Figma and working knowledge of HTML, CSS and component frameworks Preferred Qualifications Degree in HCI, human factors, cognitive psychology or related field Experience researching with operators, analysts or field personnel Experience creating or scaling a design system Ability to contribute front-end code (React, TypeScript, CSS) Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one About the Company Clarity Innovations is a national security partner delivering software and data engineering solutions to the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.
