ABOUT THE ROLE
Own prelaunch growth for an early-stage consumer AI hardware startup developing a wearable for more private interaction with computers. You will build the waitlist and shape the product story from the ground up, working closely with the founder and a small founding team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and grow the prelaunch waitlist, with signups as the primary measure of success.
- Develop messaging that helps people understand the need for private, hands-free computer interaction.
- Create and distribute social content, starting with Instagram and LinkedIn, then testing other channels.
- Run quick experiments with a small paid acquisition budget and invest further in approaches that drive signups.
- Own campaign distribution and use results to guide the next growth experiments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of growth or marketing experience at an early-stage startup, building an audience or waitlist.
- Experience growing an audience or waitlist from zero and clear examples of your individual contributions and results.
- Hands-on social content creation and an understanding of how platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn distribute content.
- Experience managing paid acquisition budgets and running rapid conversion experiments.
- Comfort working with a small founding team; event planning experience is also useful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
