About the role
Responsibilities Lead design and development of signage and wayfinding systems for urban, retail, hospitality and mixed-use projects in the Middle East Create bilingual Arabic/English wayfinding strategies reflecting regional cultural norms Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, branding consultants and client representatives across geographies Prepare design documentation including sign location plans, message schedules and sign family designs Coordinate with Middle East teams during site audits, presentations and installation Ensure compliance with regional accessibility standards, regulations and cultural sensitivities Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic, environmental or industrial design, architecture or related field 6+ years of signage and wayfinding design experience with an international or Middle East portfolio Familiarity with Arabic typography, cultural symbolism and regional design codes Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino and Keyshot Strong communication skills and experience in remote collaboration and client engagement Preferred Qualifications Experience on Middle East government or large-scale projects Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior designers Multilingual capabilities Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, paid time off, flexible work options, retirement savings plan About the Company AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm delivering projects in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings.
