About the role
Responsibilities Architect, implement, and optimize automated test frameworks for complex product areas Design and maintain automated test suites for API, UI, and integration testing Lead test strategy development and risk analysis for major features Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Mentor junior SDETs and QA team members Review code and test cases contributed by other engineers Investigate and resolve complex defects through root cause analysis Requirements 5+ years of software development and test automation experience Deep experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RestAssured Strong API, UI, and integration testing expertise CI/CD pipeline integration and optimization Advanced debugging and root cause analysis Advanced SQL and database understanding Excellent cross-functional communication Preferred Qualifications Experience with observability tools such as DataDog or New Relic About the Company Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company building the payment layer for life's essential bills.
