Join us in making a difference
Our Sales & Account Management team grows trusted relationships with Online Travel Agencies and Hotel Chains around the world, helping them get the most out of our marketplace. We’re looking for a communicative, data-minded, and sales-driven professional to own a portfolio of medium-sized accounts and become a trusted advisor to our partners. Ready for the challenge and eager to join a dynamic, international team? You’ll manage advertiser campaigns day to day, hold quarterly business reviews, and turn performance data into advice that helps partners grow. You’ll also strengthen those relationships through in-person visits. Working closely with colleagues across teams, you’ll take on increasingly complex partner challenges and build your expertise along the way. trivago is a place where ambition and support go hand in hand: we hold high standards for impact and genuinely invest in your growth. If that sounds like you, apply today!
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage the commercial campaigns of a portfolio of 10+ medium-sized accounts, including Online Travel Agencies and Hotel Chains, on a daily basis.
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships, including regular in-person visits.
- Communicate with advertisers and internal stakeholders on all areas of account management, from operational topics to campaign performance, and resolve inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor, analyze, and advise on KPIs, and hold quarterly business reviews that drive advertiser success and keep partners informed about relevant trivago developments.
- Monitor the API performance of your accounts and troubleshoot issues upon advertiser request.
- Handle daily import management (inventory and bids), contract processing, and invoicing tickets, and report on internal status.
What you'll need to thrive:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, ideally gained in a client-facing role in metasearch or online travel.
- An analytical mindset to turn large data sets into clear recommendations for partners, ideally with hands-on experience in Salesforce and Jira.
- Fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese (German is a plus), strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel for in-person partner visits.
- A genuine learning mindset: you approach new challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow.
- A performance mindset: you set ambitious goals for yourself and bring the determination and resilience to follow through on them.
- An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation: you actively explore how AI can sharpen your campaign analysis and partner reviews, and you’re excited to grow alongside evolving technologies.
Recruiting process for the role:
- Asynchronous video interview
- Take home case study
- Case study interview
